My British Tour Diary - Of Montreal |

Jenna, for the days that suck, listen to 'Sweet Talkin' Woman' by Electric Light Orchestra. I have a feeling it shall make them better.
So! Interesting fact: "John Lennon's song 'Julia' was written as an homage to his mother." Courtesy of the PSATs, surprisingly enough. Which, by the way, sucked ass. But that's another story.
Today's gym (oh, excuse me, 'P.E' class, goodness me, how could I make that mistake?) class was complete chaos. I quite loved it.
XT to school tomorrow for Spirit Week photos. It is not leaving my side. At all. And no one can touch it.
Homecoming this Saturday. Interesting, perhaps? Or just boring? Or crap? I expect crap. So it goes. But I am going to try as hard as I can to look like an old movie star. By the way, today for class theme day (Celebrity Sophomores) my friend Laura was Vivien Leigh. I think this shall please Molly.
I am starting to itch for November 18. We watched part of an epic-feeling movie about the Medici family during European History yesterday. It made me hunger for some other epic movie. 'Not quite Lord Of The Rings,' I thought, 'more like...' and then I began twitching insanely for the rest of class. Anyway. Oh! While we're still on the subject of Harry Potter... "'We’ve taken the dragon chase well beyond the book,' visual effects supervisor Jimmy Mitchell elaborates. 'We really show Harry’s prowess on a broom as the Horntail chases him out of the arena and up through mountains, viaducts and rooftops, and all across the school grounds.'" Not sure I'm liking that one, but for an upside... "the running time for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie is [probably] 157 minutes" Yessssssssss! More than two and a half hours? I'll have a slice of that! And by the way, were the Patil sisters supposed to be grown-up versions of the little girl from The Jungle Book?
By the way, Laura's sister, Annamaria, was Darth Vader (Spaced-Out Seniors) today. I saw about four people dressed as Star Wars characters, which pleased me insanely. Anyway, at lunch, Laura asked Annamaria, "Did you like the pizza [I gave you]?" And Annamaria turned her head slowly from side-to-side. Dramatically. With a Darth Vader mask on. It made my day.
Ok! I love this song. And exclamation marks.
